Serviço Google FeedBurner

PortuguêsAlgumas pessoas têm tido dificuldade em usar o plugin FeedBurner seja porque não conseguem configurar ou entender o serviço.

Este passo a passo está usando as telas do site do Google FeedBurner.

1. Entre no website do serviço Google FeedBurner e faça login. Informe o URL de onde está o feed.

2. Escolha o feed correto, porque pode existir vários feeds no mesmo URL (feed de Comentários por exemplo)

3. Se tudo estiver funcionando no seu site, aparecerá uma tela onde poderá nomear este feed e atribuir um título, isso tudo pode ser alterado depois.

4. Na tela seguinte clique no link Skip directly to feed management para ativar os serviços de assinatura, contador e outros que quiser.

5. Na tela seguinte clique na aba Publicize. Na tela seguinte, do lado esquerdo, clique em Email Subscriptions e então no botão Activate para ativar o serviço.

6. Faça o mesmo para ativar o contador clicando no item Feed Count, do lado esquerdo. Ai ficam listados serviços para o feed que poderá ativar desativar sempre que quiser.

5. Ativar Publicize

6. Ativar contador, pingshot etc

Notas

  • Você pode transferir feeds de uma conta Google para outra, por exemplo, se você quiser manter feeds de todos os seus sites sob uma só conta Google. Isso pode ser feito clicando-se no item Transfer feed… no topo da tela de um feed e seguindo as instruções.
  • Não é possível importar listas de emails para a assinatura de um feed (é uma pena), mas você pode exportar a estatística do feed (que contém os emails) para xml e csv.
  • Ao usar meu plugin, você deve informar o nome que deu ao feed, (Passo 4).

EnglishSome people are struggling to use FeedBurner plugin as they can’t configure or understand the service. This step-by-step guide despicts the old Google FeedBurner’ site screenshots (there are a new one too).

1. Visite Google FeedBurner website and log in. Informe the URL you thinks offers a feed.

2. Next screen, choose the feed you want to add, somethings an URL can present various feeds such “Comments”.

3. If your feed is working, the next screen let title and name your feed, This can be changed any time.

4. The next screen just click Skip directly to feed management link where you can activate subscription, feed counter etc.

5. In the present scree, click the Publicize tab. Then at left side, click Email Subscriptions item, where you must click the Activate button.

6. Do the same for activate the counter by clicking Feed Count, item at left side again where you can activate some others services available.

Notes

  • You can transfer feeds from a Google account to another, e.g. if you want to keep feeds from all your sites within a single Google account. This can be done by clicking the link Transfer feed… at the screen top of a feed e following the steps.
  • It is not possible to import emails lists to your feed subscription (pity!), although you can export your feed stat (which keep email adresses) to xml and csv.
  • When using my plugin, you must inform the name you gave to your feed (4th step).

    I am also getting “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled” when testing. I have a Feedburner account with Email Subscription set. It was working until I entered my Feedburner URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/kenovatech. I’m wondering if the widget is correctly parsing the URL?

      If Google FeedBurner says that, we can’t deny it. You must activate the feature within your account. Every feed you have must be set before using the plugin.
